Warm weather running tips
Our Wednesday Track Session is still ON for tonight. Please note that we are expecting hot and humid conditions. In these conditions, please remember to:
- Hydrate before, during and after activity with electrolytes to replenish the minerals lost through sweat. This can be done with electrolyte tablets or capsules
- Adjust your training by taking longer rests and/or lowering the workout volume + intensity
- Wear moisture-wicking clothing — lightweight and loose-fitting moisture-wicking clothing will help regulate body temperature during activity in high temperatures .
- Look cool, be cool: Bring a hat and sunglasses!
