For us, running is sweaty, soothing, gritty, messy, healthy, uplifting, challenging, and rewarding (and that's just on one run). When done in the company of others? Running is hilarious, motivating, memorable, and just plain fun!

Fleet Feet Louisville Running Club
Fleet Feet Louisville offers year-round training programs designed for runners and walkers of all levels.
Spring Training
In the spring, we prepare for Louisville Triple Crown of Running—featuring the 5K, 10K, and 15K—as well as the Kentucky Derby Festival Mini Marathon and the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon in April.
Fall Training
Our fall season incorporates several local and regional races, including the Ragnar Bourbon Chase and Hot Chocolate Run. We also focus on major goal races like the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and the Louisville Marathon.

Training for a big race takes more than logging miles. It takes a smart plan, the right support and people who know how to help you run steady through the tough weeks and the good ones too.
That’s what you’ll find in Fleet Feet’s Half and Marathon Training Program in partnership with ASICS.
With two supported workouts each week, beginner and intermediate training tiers and running coaches who bring real expertise to every step, you’ll have what you need to train with purpose and finish with confidence.

Our Half Training Program Difference

The Coaches
Each of Fleet Feet's training distances are led by experienced coaches. These individuals are there to help organize mentors, lead meetings, plan routes, answer questions, and to lead group runs. Coaches have lots of experience in our programs, they know local routes, and they have completed many races. They are encouraging, outgoing, and compassionate. Our coaches are great at making personal connections and fostering comaraderie within the group.
The Mentors
The main roles of a mentor is to promote the sport of running and walking in Louisville and to mentor training program participants. Mentors are high energy individuals who love the sport of running and want to share it with everyone they meet. Mentors come in all speeds from walking to running. The main role of a an mentor is to offer support and guidance for less experienced training program participants, to volunteer at local races and events, and to spread the news about events, promotions and races both in person and via social media. While this is a group of volunteers, there are many great perks to being a part of this awesome team.
