They so far are good, good room in toes and my arches don’t hurt . I wish they had a little more patting in the heal

Most comfortable sneakers I have ever had.

I am always skeptical about buying a shoe online, but knowing my fit through Fleet Feet, I took a chance. My xwide feet fit great inside the shoe. It seems I usually am stuck with black shoes because the store usually has my size mostly in black. I ordered these on clearance and am happy with my purchase.

Absolutely love this shoe feels like you are walking on clouds very comfortable and great stability had the brooks 16 and fell in love with the shoe well worth the he money!!!

These shoes are a great fit and ready to run in right out of the box. Well cushioned yet sturdy - they make my feet happy! And my knees and hips… Highly recommend.

I’ve worn brooks for years - worn ghost for years. The shoes have become so narrow now and very disappointing.

I’m a 73 year old woman and walk every day just to make sure I still can. :-). These shoes are more comfortable and feel more stable than the Hokas I bought, which are also good. I bought a half size larger than my “normal” shoes & sandals. The inside of the Brooks are very soft and smooth and cushy. I have a high arch and the insert that came with the shoes was perfect. The Hoka is a tiny bit scratchy on the inside. This is my third pair of the Ghost and I’ve loved them all. The associate in the Fleet Feet store made sure I had the best shoe for me and she was easy to work with. My daughter recommended the Hoka and I’ll alternate between the Hoka and the Brooks. A good experience. I bought the Hoka in the store and bought the Ghost online as soon as I got home. I should have just bought them in the store when I tried them on!

The fit is great. I wear a 9.5 wide. I wear adrenaline, and addiction as well. I would love any of these in wide in cool colors. I prefer shoes other than black or light. Would love a navy and a dark grey.

I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts and I always fall back to my Brooks Ghost. So supportive and comfy and they hold up through all I put them through!

I struggled over the years to find a pair of sneakers that were truly comfortable for me. About 10 years ago I was gifted a pair of Brooks Ghosts for Christmas. I had never owned a pair and fell in love with them immediately and have bought several pairs of Ghosts since and have never ever been disappointed. Please never stop making these sneakers!

I been wearing Ghost model for years. Only 15 that I had issue with. It’s got the right amount of support and cushion. I am not a runner but dog walker. I got two pointers so walks on asphalt and nature trails for up to 6 miles. Shoes last about 6 months with daily usage and rotation between two pairs.

Ghost has been my go to shoe for more than 20 years! I have high arches and wide feet. They always fit and feel just right.

Great shoe. Had to return as the heel was just a little bit big.

I’ve been wearing Brooks Ghosts forever and have never been disappointed. The 17 shoe is comfortable with a good amount of cushion and stability. The back of the heel, where your foot enters, is shaped differently. I think it may help with wear and tear. Time will tell.

True to size with ample cushioning

Went to the store to determine what was a good fit & I was certainly given lots of help with this. I may have gotten overwhelmed with all the details, all the choices. Final analysis: I was not over the moon with my final choice because: not happy with the stability the shoes provided & my feet were hot wearing them.

I love the Ghost 17. So happy I bought them, but I found out that I needed a extra wide instead of the wide .

I’ve been a Brooks Ghost wearer for years. This model feels like it has a narrow heel cup and narrow toe box.

I have a hard foot to fit being a women’s size 11.5 narrow. It’s so nice to find a great shoe that actually fits me!

These are my favorite shoes. I love wearing them. They are great for work too. They don't hurt my feet either.

I have been wearing the Ghosts since the 13 was out and loved them. No issues. But the 17s are different. They're tighter. I usually get the standard shoe but they just have made these more narrow and now I need to go to the next width.

I love these shoes! Great fit, true to size. Like walking on a cloud, but with great support.

I really like my Brooks Ghost 17. They fit like a glove and are very stylish.

I liked the shoe, except that the accent colors were not anywhere as bright as they appeared on line, and I’m a big fan of color. I returned them to the Fleetfeet store in Bloomington, and they were very nice about it. So I’m still a big fan of Fleetfeet.

Great fit, cushioning is great and feels wonderful on my feet.

I am a huge Brooks Ghost fan and even tried a new brand and style but after a week, the new shoe was causing my heal to hurt and rub funny. I immediately returned the shoe and went back to my old go-to reliable Brooks Ghost!! I’ve been thrilled my feet have been so happy! The fit is perfect, the cushion and comfort walking on cement or blacktop, and the color is not over the top bright!

Fit bigger than a 7.5. Held against my last pair of 7.5 Brooks these were slightly bigger. I've had lots of different Brooks over the years but these Ghosts are my least favorite so far.

Nice shoe but not as comfortable as the Ghost Max 2.

I’ve been wearing Brooks for years and the Ghost for many shoe purchase cycles. This is the first time I was disappointed. The automatic comfort and fit was gone and they actually bothered my feet when walking. Cosmetically, i dislike the redesigned heel. I will look at Brooks in the future, but likely pass on the Ghost series.

Have been wearing Brooks ghost for few years now. This 17 is best fit so far. I’m narrow and this one hugs my foot in heel and toe box. And the color is very pretty as well as never many choices in narrow. Like this one so much have ordered backup pair already while a narrow was available.

I have been getting the Brooks Ghost shoes since version 11 came out. I am now on version 17, awaiting 18 release in May. I have one pair for everyday use (to keep reasonably clean) and another for my 3 days a week walk, exercise, and gardening (which get dirty). I have both a bunion and Morton's Neuroma in my right foot which require orthotics and a wide fit. These shoes have reduced pain from those issues by over 80%. I love this shoes!

Highly recommend this for anyone who is a walker. I’m not a runner so I can’t speak to this being a good shoe for that. However, when I walk outside, I walk several miles at a time and this shoe has done great and held up just fine.

I found the Brooks Ghost while I was in college trying to figure out what type of shoe I wanted. I’d try other brands that were suggested to me at Fleet Feet as a similar shoe but I go right back to the Brooks Ghost!! I love the comfort, durability, and wear of the Ghost. I feel the price is reasonable! I have multiple pairs. I keep one pair at work to walk; one pair for working out; and one pair for everyday use! Thanks Brooks for making a great and reliable shoe. I am hooked!

Extremely comfortable, runs true to size

They are awesome! This is my fourth pair and I will continue to purchase this style.However, since my size is a narrow width, I have no choice of colors. Also there are no narrow styles in the stores either. Huge disappointment. Wide widths are in the store so why not narrow???

No choice on the 17. Never have the pretty colors I want in my size. 11W. I have a Ghost 16 colors peacoat raspberry and apricot currently. . Lots of compliments on them. Bring those colors back. They are my everyday shoes.

always best shoe for me

I was looking for another pair of my favorite Brooks show - Levitate 5's which are no longer available. The sales person at the Delray Beach store turned my on to the Ghost 17. They were perfect. I was my second pair of Ghost 17 and am a currently looking at purchasing another pair in another color.

2nd pair of ghost 17. Not as good of a fit. Go figure. Bought separate insoles. It’sa Gurl thang but the color is important. Hard to get a good color selection in wide widths

These shoes are so uncomfortable with zero arch support. Would not recommend.

They were ready to go right out of the box, no breaking in required. I got the pink pair and I love having color on my feet when running. They are the only shoe that I have found that keeps my knees from hurting after long training runs. I highly recommend.

Love my brooks ghost running shoes and they arrived in a matter of days!

I have worn Brooks Ghost for years. Some models I liked better than others. I particularly liked this model. I am noticing just the slightest extra bit of room down in the toe area. I am also a sock snob and am a huge fan of the Balega socks. I prefer the thicker, mohair material. I have had to have surgery on both toe tips and with my cushy socks this has improved the quality of my life. The actual color of the shoe looks like a Tequila Sunrise :)

The latest Ghost model does not disappoint! I have wide feet and a slightly high arch, and Fleet Feet didn't lead me stray when they suggested the Ghost line from Brooks. This is my 4th or 5th purchase and they have all been worth the investment. I do wish they would expand the list of COLORS for the wide shoes - it's so limited!

The Ghost was the first real running shoe I ever bought. It's tied for my favorite with a shoe from another brand (which I also purchase at Fleet Feet). I really like the 17. The thing I like about the Ghost is that it seems a little narrower, especially in the heel, and I don't get heel slippage like I do in other shoes. What I really came here to comment on is the excellent service I get at the Roseville, Calif., store. The service is consistently superior no matter how busy they are. Everyone there is excellent, but I'd like to give special recognition to Lacy, who took the time to help me when my feet were really, really hurting. (Time wounds all heels, and it eventually catches up with the metatarsals, too).

So glad I switched from Hoka. Finally a wide sneaker that doesn’t look like a clown shoe yet is comfortable. I do wear a 1/2 size up in brooks than Hoka. I use these for walking.

I am so disappointed that Brooks decided to only make the Brooks Ghost Narrow shoes in 1 color, which is the very pale Oyster color. I have been buying the Brooks Ghost for many years and have really loved that I could get a 10AA in the black on black color scheme. That way the shoes did not stand out when worn along with my black work pants. I am not happy with Brooks but feel trapped since not many companies sell Narrow running shoes at all but now o have no choice on colors.

Really like my new shoes. They are comfortable and fit well. Love them.

I have purchased ghost running shoes for years! This is my least favorite.

I didn't like the fit. I cannot comfortably wear the Hoka like herl and sole. The color was ridiculous. It's ashame the traditional shoe can no longer be purchased.I ended up in purchasing a Brooks Adrenaline (the old fit) and purchased 2 pairs.

Ed at Fleet Feet in Cincinnati in Oakley was terrific in leading me to this shoe! He took so much time with me and I’m so happy I bought this shoe!

Sadly, I'm not completely satisfied with the 17. It slips on my heel. Wish I could have found some 16s left in my size.

They are great. I have been wearing them for years. They fit me perfectly and serve my needs.

Great fit with lots of support

I haven’t worn them a lot yet, but the fit seems good, comfort is great, as expected, and I love the darker color for going into fall!

They are about the only gym shoe that fit my long, narrow foot. Please make them in more colors.

Im not a runner but walk a lot. I would say read reviews for the best fit. I’m normally a size 7M but in Brooks I can get in a 7.5 or 8 and I might even suggest wide because the fit is tight. Great waking shoe. I traveled and lots of walking so these sneakers were great!

I loved the Ghost 15.. had two pairs. A great neutral shoe. Wasn't sure about the Ghost 16 but decided they were comfortable. Recently purchased the Ghost 17 and the changes aren't good for me. It actually hurts my heals to wear these shoes. Loved earlier versions of the shoe but won't be buying any more of these.

So comfy and my feet feel supported.

I was a little nervous about ordering the Brooks Ghost 17 for women, because I had really liked the Ghost 16 and wasn't sure how the changes would work out with this new model. However, I shouldn't have worried. The 17 are even better than the 16. So comfortable - great support and the fit is the same as I expected. I am really glad that you carry the narrow size because other retailers don't. Very satisfied customer!

After years of wearing Ghosts I have to say these are the most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned! I love the style and color too.

The best Ghost I’ve had in the last few years!

I haven’t run in years, and after getting back into it I was getting blisters and had some discomfort. I finally took the time to get fitted for a proper shoe and have been shocked at how I can now run without pain. It didn’t help that my previous shoe was unknowingly half a size too small! I’ve already purchased a 2nd pair of these shoes!

They are very comfortable and since I am in my feet all day , it nice that they stay comfortable all day!

I LOVE that this shoe came in extra wide! (2 colors are offered in extra wide) This is the best fit and feel of any shoe that I've had in years! So thankful for this shoe!

The Brooks Ghost 17 was not the color I ordered. However, I would have kept the shoes but the fit was poor. Was not the quality of Brooks I have worn for over 12 years. Shoes were returned. Although the shoes did not work out, the service from Fleet Feet was excellent.

These shies fr my king, Barrie foot perfectly. I’m a 10.5 narrow, but got the medium and the flat t is excellent. I love the look and the extra cushioning. I had a knee replacement 7 months ago and these are helping with my return to fitness walking.

Very comfortable and somewhat lightweight but support well during walk. Seem true to size-though I haven’t worn Brooks before.

These are by far my favorite running shoes I've ever owned, they have the perfect amount of cushion and support. Most days I put them back on to go to work, because they are just so much more comfortable than any other shoes I own.

I'm recovering from a leg injury, and doing my first steps in learning how to walk again. My primary goals were balance and cushioning. After trying multiple Brooks shoes among others, I found the Ghost 17 to be the best fit for my needs, as it provided the balance, although it lacked the perfect cushioning. I solved the cushioning problem with an insert. I'm happy to get my feet going with these shoes. Love them and very comfort.

During my first run, the back of my calves were in so much pain!!! Then I decided to try them one more time and wear them to work, trying to give them a chance. I started having pain in my my right upper quad, which I’ve never had before. Then through the night at work, I started having severe pain on the outside of my ankles, where the shoe meets my lateral malleoli. The pain was incredible all night long at work. I’ve never had a pair of shoes be so painful from the very start like these. I’ve always worn Hokas but decided to try these, but I will never try this brand again hoping to get my money back.
