June Events at Fleet Feet Treasure Valley
June is here, and with it comes the start of summer miles, early sunrises, and longer evenings to enjoy the outdoors. As temperatures begin to rise, it is a great time to stay consistent, listen to your body, and adjust your routine as needed for the warmer days ahead.
This season is about staying connected with the running and walking community and making the most of every opportunity to meet new friends. With a busy lineup of races and the second Boise Run Collective event of the season, there are plenty of ways to stay motivated, explore new routes, and keep the momentum going into summer.
June 4 – Brooks Shakeout Run and Demo
Date & Time: Thursday, June 4| 5:30 PM
Location: Fleet Feet Meridian, 3573 E.Longwing Lane, Meridian, ID
Join Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, Brooks Running, and the Fuel Your Miles Spring Training Program for an evening of community, movement, and race weekend preparation at Fleet Feet Meridian.
Come enjoy a relaxed shakeout run or walk around The Village at Meridian, and test out the all-new Brooks Ghost 18 and Adrenaline GTS 25 demo shoes. Stick around afterward for a free pizza potluck and connect with fellow runners and walkers as you get ready for an exciting race weekend.

June 6 - Treasure Valley Rescue Run
Date & Time: Saturday, June 6 | 8:00 AM
Location: Reid Merrill Park, 637 E Shore Drive, Eagle, ID
Join us for a beautiful race along the Eagle Greenbelt at the Treasure Valley Rescue Run! Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K course, plus a FREE Kids Dash. All registered racers receive finisher medals, with shirts available for 5K and 10K participants. This stroller and dog-friendly event is perfect for the whole family, and special thanks to Wright Physical Therapy for being a sponsor!

June 11 – Gowen 5K (Military Personnel Only)

June 20 – The Caldwell Classic
Date & Time: Saturday, June 20 | 8:00 AM
Location: Indian Creek Plaza, Caldwell, ID
Join us for the 2nd Annual Caldwell Classic 5K & 1-Mile Race, a fun and community-focused event for runners and walkers of all levels. Whether you’re chasing a PR, enjoying a relaxed run with friends, or participating in the family-friendly 1-mile race, this event offers something for everyone. After the race, stick around Indian Creek Plaza for music, local vendors, and a lively post-race celebration hosted by Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, Boise Running, and community partners.
June 23 – Boise Run Collective #2
Date & Time: Tuesday, June 23 | 6:30 PM
Location: Green Acres Food Truck Park, 767 S. Pioneer Street, Boise, ID
Join Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, Boise Run Club, and ASICS for the second Boise Run Collective event of the season. Connect with the local running and walking community, enjoy an evening run along the Greenbelt, and stick around afterward for great company and beverages at Green Acres Food Truck Park! Be sure to sign up so you can earn a Boise Run Collective T-shirt after attending two events!

June 26 – Bogus Trail Series #1
Date & Time: Friday, June 26 | 6:00 PM
Location: Bogus Basin Ski Resort, 2600 N Bogus Basin Road, Boise, ID
The Bogus Trail Series returns to Bogus Basin with three exciting trail races on some of the area’s most scenic and challenging terrain. This year introduces a Grand Prix-style scoring format, where runners earn points throughout the series toward overall titles. Race #1 features a 4.5-mile course starting near Simplot Lodge, climbing Deer Point Trail, and looping back through Sunshine XC Trail and Bogus Creek. Sign up early to guarantee your race shirt!

June Price Increase Reminder
Several upcoming races will see price increases after midnight on Tuesday, June 30. Register early to save.

Join us at Bogus Basin for two days of trail running fun at the Boise Front Trail Festival! Take on the uphill challenge Friday night, then come back Saturday morning for the 5-mile or 10-mile race while supporting local trails, with race proceeds benefiting Ridge to Rivers.

Race Day: August 22 at 8:00 AM
The XC12K offers 5K and 12K options to run or hike with an 11:00 AM cutoff, all while supporting the Bogus Basin Nordic Team and Nordic skiing in the Treasure Valley.

The Great Futures 5K/10K supports the Boys and Girls Club of Canyon County with scenic courses along the Nampa Greenbelt and a strong community focus.

Top of Tamarack is more than a race, it is a powerful event where mental health meets mental strength in support of suicide awareness and recovery. Participants can run, hike, or bike as far as they choose up Tamarack Resort’s mountain roads, celebrating every mile climbed! Race proceeds will benefit Gr8ter, Inc., a local non-profit organization that helps people struggling with mental health issues find hope and happiness through movement, connection, and purpose
You must register by September 1st in order to be guaranteed race swag.

Idaho Running Day includes a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon along the Boise Greenbelt from Lucky Peak to Southeast Boise.
