Have been running for 57 years, so have worn many different shoe types. The Cielo provides a more cushioned experience for a plated shoe, which really works well for me. I do not have a large sample size, but Garmin RD Pod indicates a 6% increase in stride length with no extra energy cost. Good value for money as the 2.0 is discounted ahead of version 3.0.
