Join us for a special evening at Fleet Feet New Smyrna Beach as we kick off Altra Takeover Weekend for the Shark Bite Half Marathon & Feeding Frenzy 5K!
We’re excited to welcome Brian Beckstead, Co-Founder of Altra Running, for an evening of conversation, photos, and community. Brian will share the story behind Altra, from a bold idea and big dreams to becoming one of the most influential brands in running today.
5:00 PM – Meet & Greet at Fleet Feet New Smyrna BeachThe evening begins at Fleet Feet with a meet and greet with Brian. Come camera-ready, ask questions, hear the Altra story firsthand, and spend some time connecting before the run festivities begin. This portion is perfect for anyone who may not be able to participate in the demo run but still wants to be part of the experience.
6:00 PM – Altra Demo at New Smyrna Beach BrewingAt 6:00 PM, we’ll head over to New Smyrna Beach Brewing for an Altra shoe demo and additional time to meet Brian before heading out.
6:30 PM – Group Run with Stink and Drink NSB Run GroupThe demo run will depart at approximately 6:30 PM, following our regularly scheduled weekly run format.
Whether you’re racing this weekend, demoing shoes, or simply stopping by to meet Brian and learn more about Altra, this is a great way to kick off a big race weekend with Fleet Feet New Smyrna Beach.
