Our Summer 2026 Half Marathon Training Program is Presented by ASICS

Looking to take your running to the next level in 2026? If so, let our exceptional coaching staff, pace groups, educational clinics, and training plans help you meet your goals.
The Fleet Feet Bloomington 10K & Half Marathon Training Program is designed to prepare runners for their first ever 10K or Half Marathon or help seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. Both programs will have options for participants new to these distances as well as more advanced runners.
We believe it is important to train with a goal in mind, and usually (but not always) that goal is a race. This program is structured for 10K and half marathon participants to complete the St. Jude 10K and Half Marathon on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Bloomington, IL. However, your goal might just be to run for fun with great people or you may have another event in mind, and that works, too.
There will be an Open House and Fun Run on Tuesday, June 16 at Fleet Feet Bloomington. Bring your friends and family for a Fun Run or Walk at 5:30 p.m., then stick around to learn more details about the program at 6:15 p.m.
The first workout for the Half Marathon group will be Saturday, June 27 at 7:30 a.m. at Fleet Feet.
The first workout for the 10K group will be Saturday, July 25 at 7:30 a.m. at Fleet Feet.
The 10K training is an 8-week program and half marathon training is a 12-week program.
Program Details:
When: Weekly group training runs will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays. There will NOT be a group run on the 4th of July.
Where: The group will meet at Fleet Feet Bloomington, Tipton Park, Rosa Parks Commons, Connie Link Amphitheater, Underwood Park and other places around town. Participants will receive a program calendar that highlights where the group will meet each week, as well as weekly email reminders.
Program Costs:
- $70 - Eight-week program (Use Promo Code FF10K2026 at registration)
- $85 - Twelve-week half program
Registration for the training program does not include registration for goal races.
